A millésime champagne can be either a single variety or a blend. It’s made using grapes from the same harvest year and it has to be a good year.
A millésime gives the cellar master the freedom to showcase the unique personality of a good year. It spends at least 3 years ageing in dark cellars.
Millésime champagnes have a more intense and lingering aftertaste with more body.
